About the artwork:
In this artwork, I started to add realistic elements amidst the Expresso-Cubist abstraction. I was very comfortable and confident to experiment. I was able to explore and expand the horizons of what I could represent with my art.

Concepts of the artwork:
A solitary worker in a large field. His arduous toil shows us his willpower and resilience. The hat hides his face, his eyes, perhaps his tears, while his back burns entirely under the intense sun. The work field is immense and the work seems endless. The fences establish the limits of his activity, showing the boundaries of the workplace. Above all this toil, the sky. A true sky, that can be seen and believed. A real sky that can be observed above all pain, all suffering. A sky above all hard service. It is for this sky, real and attestable, that we continue working, we continue serving, respecting our limits, respecting the limits established for us in this life of work; of hard work.
The apparent loneliness is not a distraction, because it is only apparent, and the more we work, the more we bend to work. Even if the work environment is still hostile to us, it is a stage for action. It is there that our sweat salts the earth and provides bread. Even if the sun burns our backs, without it, working the soil would be in vain. A sublime experience happens every day of work.
