About the artwork:
A leap in size. This time, 50x60cm. The largest canvas I painted in this style during this initial phase of Expresso-Cubism. Completely comfortable and sure of what I was doing, I felt I had mastered the style. I was ready to create a work of this magnitude. Everything went well.

Concepts of the artwork:
A spectacle of the modern world. Oppositions clash in a violent combat. There is no mercy. Energetically determined to fight each other, we continue in these times that turn disputes into a spectacle. A fight begins, two opponents decide to face each other and their intentions dissolve between the delight of the audience and the satisfaction of their own desires, enslaved by their violent impulse. The fight only ends when one side is defeated, vanquished, finished, knocked down, neutralized. There is no judge, there is no justice. "It's me and you. Here and now. One against the other." May the most brutal win. May the most violent win. May the most impetuous win. It's not enough to win, it's necessary to defeat.
