About the artwork:
This is my very first painting. It represents a moment of breaking through one of the biggest barriers I've ever faced in life. I spent years afraid to paint on canvas, thinking I'd be incapable and that it wasn't for me. I thought I should settle for watching others paint and continuing with my pencil and paper drawings, but then, after fighting against myself, I found the courage to take this step, discovering the delights of artistic freedom.

Concepts of the artwork:
This painting manifests my deep admiration for abstract arts, more specifically Suprematism, a style developed by the Russian painter Kazimir Malevich. After greatly admiring his work and reading about his ideas on art, forms, and image representations, I put all the philosophy and passion for art I had gathered until then onto the canvas, honoring Malevich by placing the "Black Square on a White Background" at the top of the painting.
By representing forms hovering above shapeless and obscure figures, I represent the state in which people who ignore art and its elements, which are present in everything around us, live. A way of showing how saddened I feel to see people who are unaware of the wonders of art.
With this work, I inaugurated what I consider to be my own style, called Supremo-Returnism, a style that seeks to present to people the elements of art and how we can relate to it in a dynamic and intense way.

Decorate your home, your office, your environment with a work full of vibrant colors that jump off the canvas, to enchant and draw the attention of those present, generating good moments and good deep and reflective conversations about art and the world around us!
